A few common sizes:
- 85mm - a stock Zetec 2.0 found in Focus, Contour, ZX2, etc is 84.8. When overbored .007", this brings the bore to 85mm
- 85.5 - Zetec bore to .027" oversize
- 87.5mm - Duratec / MZR and Ecoboost 4 cyl engines, 2.0 and 2.3 L. Stock bore
- 88mm - Duratec and Ecoboost 4 cyl engines, 2.0 and 2.3 L over bored .5mm or .03937" - might be stated ".040" over" nominal. Typically, overboring this amount would require the block to be resleeved.
- 88.5 - Duratec and Ecoboost 4 cyl engines, 2.0 and 2.3 L over bored 1mm or .01968" - might be stated ".020" over" nominal
- 89mm - Duratec / MZR 2.5 4 Cylinder Liter stock bore
- 89.5mm - Duratec / MZR 2.5 4 Cylinder Liter over bored .5mm or .01968" - might be stated ".020" over" nominal
