Designed specifically for the GM LS series of engines. This tool allows for simple, safe installation of the press fit crank pulley. Simply thread the stud into the threaded bore of the crank, start pulley onto snout and apply included assembly lubricant to threads of tool. Slide on both washers and finger tighten provided nut. Begin snugging down tool with ratchet. Once pulley bottoms out, install is complete.

Ā Ā Ā We use only the highest grade threaded rod, it is made from carbon alloy steel that has been quenched and tempered to reach its higher strength. Other no name China tools available online are made from soft mystery metal, we have seen these rods elongate with the considerable torque needed to press down the pulley, resulting in essentially a one time use tool. They also include a serrated lock nut?Ā Why?Ā This will damage either the drive plate, crank pulley or both.Ā And will be difficult to remove afterwards.Ā These people do not design tools - they rip them off, poorly.
Ā Ā Ā Included is a full 1/4ā thick x 2ā custom turned driving plate to resist the deformation found in lesser tools. Tools are designed to be used for a lifetime and are finished in a zinc and yellow dichromate plating to resist corrosion.

Just buy it. It works! just go slow and use PB blaster because the drill bits are a bit on the fragile side.

Any thing more than stock power this is a must have. You WILL spin the balancer on the crank without pinning it.
