Full 1/4 " (.250") carbon steel construction. This tool is more than just two pieces of metal welded together - we precise CNC Laser cut mating plates and then Mortise and Tenon Thru-weld them for max torsional strength. INCLUDES all new high strength grade 10.9 Zinc and Yellow dichromate Flanged hex head cap screws and washers. Picks up all 10 bolt holes for max rigidity and ensures no damage to aluminum heads, and seals out the motor from dust and dirt (or a random 8mm socket) while in storage. FIVE crane pickup points offers superior versatility.

I tried getting a 5.0L coyote out of my 2014 F150 and couldn't get normal chains and bolts to work. Bought a cheap leveling bar with chains, that didn't work. I bought the Massive speed system lift plate and popped it right out! Putting the replacement engine in was also so much easier. Worth the purchase!

I'm an older seasoned ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician, I'm reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality tools. This engine removal plate is exactly what you need to remove a Ford 5.0L Coyote from the vehicle. This is a very robust plate that will handle the Coyote engine removal with no concerns for your safety, and they even include the proper bolts and washers. Made here is the USA and it shows in it's quality and design. Looked at several different removal plates before choosing this one, and am very satisfied with my purchase. I rarely give a 5 star review, but when the product warrants it, like this removal plate does, then I am glad to give that rating. Worked out great. Had to grind one corner to gain more clearance.
Worked perfect for my Coyote swap in my 70 F100. I had the 10R80 trans also most of the accessories on it still, so it was a HEAVY set. And this worked great and No troubles. Packed nice and looks good now on the wall.
