Full 3/16" carbon steel construction. This tool is more than just two pieces of metal welded together - we precise CNC Plasma cut mating paltes and then Mortise and Tenon Thru-weld them for max torsional strength. INCLUDES all new high strength grade 10.9 Zinc and Yellow dichromate hex head cap screws and washers. Picks up all 10 bolt holes for max rigidity and ensures no damage to aluminum blocks, and seals out the motor from dust and dirt (or a random 8mm socket) while in storage. Triple crane pickup points offers superior versatility.

This plate is exactly what I needed to complete my LS Swap in my 1968 Camaro. I had looked at three different brands before deciding on this one. The deciding factor was actually it's look. In my shop I have all my lift plates hung on the back wall. The Red Finish is killer. Most importantly, it's well made and balanced. It also came with a complete hardware kit. Five stars!

Everything lined up perfect on my gen IV 4.8, comes with grade 8 bolts and the welds are strong...all at a good price point. I also loved the contents of the paperwork that came with it too lol.

Wow this is a quality piece. Sure you can get plates for a few bucks less but do you really want to trust your expensive motor to something with potential quality issues. This plate has notches cut into it and the lifting part is sank down then welded. Worked perfect for getting my engine hoisted to transport home, next step is installing into the car.
