Ever since the 06’ Focus was released, aftermarket suspension offerings have been sparse at best due the a slightly redesigned front strut setup… While the 00-05 cars have a wealth of options, the newer cars have but a few sets of springs available, so much that you could count them on one hand and have a few fingers left over… Due to the many requests, Massive has developed and tested a simple conversion kit that will allow 06’+ focus owners the ability to use ANY existing early Focus suspension component.
The kit offers a very simple install and is manufactured in house of high quality materials. The kit will be fully reversible should you wish to put the car back to stock. Specifically, you will be able install early style struts and thus use early style springs. Massive will discount this kit to $69 if the purchase is combined with any suspension purchase (springs and or struts). You’ll need to message us or call for the deal.

Mine arrived almost a week early! Which was nice!The kit was packaged well! And it come with a surprise Slim Jim! Not sure if that was done as a prank by an employee or that is normal. Either way it made me laugh!

TIP: as someone else stated, put the bolt in from the sway bar link side so it doesn't hit the sway bar link.On my 2005 Ford Focus, I had just replaced the struts, and I wanted to replace the whole knuckle assembly instead of the bearing and wheel hub individually. BUT i cant find anyone selling the 05 assembly all pre-pressed. With this kit, I adapted the 2006 focus knuckle assembly to the 2005 focus.My only issue was fitting the bolt in the steering knuckle. The part of the strut that the pinch bolt goes through was not far out enough and I had to pry it out just a bit to match the new thickness of the strut adapter. Other than that, it worked great.

I ordered this from Massives website (for 89 with 5 shipping, I might add.) and it works PERFECTLY. Just a tip though, slide the spacer into the spindle with antisieze on both sides, then coat the bottom of the strut with antisieze. Line it up, tap into place, and slide the bolt through with the hex on the swaybar link side. If you go through front to back, the excess threads will bump into the end link. Tighten it down, and you're golden!
