Massive Drivetrain Tools - Pinon Flange

4 years of professional use and still holds up! I bought this tool 4 years ago and we use it all the time. Our old one has finally gotten to the point where it is worn out. Countless differentials done with this tool. Can not recommend enough. I just bought another one to replace the old one.

Good Quality

I used this to rebuild a Ford Super 8.8. The crush sleeve is a monster. I used a 3/4" x 36" breaker bar, 3/4" x 24" ratchet and a FLOOR JACK to crush that sleeve. This plate held up to the abuse and I was able to set my preload perfectly....with lots of patience!! Thank you!

This is the best one for a Ford 8.8. Bought a cheaper one that claimed to work and it did not. This one works great and is extremely sturdy. You will need to buy the bolts.

Looks like the millennium falcon, works well on Toyota 3rd members.

I used this while rebuilding my 1990 Mustang LX 5.0 foxbody 8.8 rear end and it worked flawlessly.

Thick, quality feel, nice fit and finish. Would have been nice if it came in the case and center bolt. Used a piece of 3/4 conduit 1inch would fit if conduit was modified slightly. Holes for mounting to flange fit well.

If you're looking at this product you know what a pain in the a you're about to be up against lol. We have done this rear end job multiple times without this tool and it just is a headache. Thos thing come in super clutch the ¾" breaker bar fits really snug and tight to allow use of a impact. Although the ½" broker fits loosely causing loss in impacts. We pinned the ¾"bar to the ground and used a cheap jack to push the ½" breaker up and appropriate 12 point socket to help with positioning. All those together help to persuade the pinion nut to its 400+lbs ft resting place and very very minimal wear on out tool plate. We'll definitely use this again. As for now it's in the cabinet with the 4.30 3.73 and 4.11 gears until next time.

Rebuilt a Ford 8.8 rear end this summer and I don't have a ton of shop tools but this turned out to be awesome. High quality material very thick, a lot of adjustability.

Very well made tool..... however, I haven't used it yet. (will report back if I have any trouble when I use it) This was more money than some of the other similar looking flange/yoke holding tools on Amazon but this was the only one that specifically said FOR SURE that is fit the Ford 8.8, AND it's the only tool that had the provision for the 3/4 pipe to slide on as a handle. The bonus is that it was made in the USA

Very well made and handy tool. Works flawlessly. My colleague was concerned it might damage the threads on the fasteners used to mate it to the yoke, but I had zero issues with that. Invaluable product and easier on the yoke and your well-being than a giant pipe wrench.

Worked great. I used this on my 8.8 for my fox body.

I had to use my die grinder to open up the half inch opening, but who cares!

Holds the pinion on my Dana 60 perfectly. Just what I needed to torque the pinion nut

This thing is strong. Set rear pinion on a GM 3500 no problem. Utilize the 3/4 inch cutout on larger rear ends like this. Very versatile, strong and Made In USA. Buy it.

Nice solid tool for holding the yoke. Has multiple slots for different bolt patterns. You can hold the tool with a 1/2 drive breaker bar or for more leverage there is a tab (solid won't bend) that you can slip a pipe over.

Makes it MUCH easier to hold pinion back while Crushing the crush Collar . 3/4 breaker bar fits nicely in the provided bore . Used mostly on 12 bolt GM and Mid year corvette rears , Both these rears have tough to crush collars ,not like a 9 inch Ford or 8.5 GM . Made my life easier. Make sure you use High quality bolts [ grade 8] to secure to pinion yoke Holds up using Two 3/4 breaker bars with 3ft pipe extensions . AAAAAAA rated

Used this to regear the diffs under my Jeep TJ. It held up to the abuse of torquing down the crush sleeves no problem.

These things are tough. Used it on my K1500 and my XJ. Fit good and price is right. Cant beat made in USA either.
